I have had an interest in the visual arts beginning as a young girl.  I remember creating sculptures from the earthen mud that often was my place of creativity.  The mediums expanded and grew as time evolved.  I have spent my adulthood teaching students about the art processes...but mostly I became a cheerleader of sorts, giving each young soul "permission" to become their own artist in the making.

I truly have been blessed with the people in my life who have encouraged, pushed and sometimes shoved me into bettering myself as an artist.  My husband Ken, my family and friends have impacted my desire for growth and immersion into greater challenges that have guided me to where I am at today, as an artist and interpreter of color, shape and textures.
